In this series of works, the artist “wanders” day after day, as if colourfully making in a calendar successive stages of a journey. This one as a beige day and the other as a blue one. We can see him in a photo on an exotic beach all covered in grey mud. In the end, he admits that he has never been by the Red Sea. In the society full of tradition it is impossible not to associate the wandering on the Red Sea with the biblical symbolism of the escape of the chosen people from captivity. Isn’t this series the artist’s liberation from the primary bondage and entering the creative freedom?
