In June 2005, Jan Kanty Pawluskiewicz was given the award, Cracovian Price of the XXI century, which is addressed to notable people only.

For many years he tried to link his two passions – composing and painting. He started to paint in his own technique, gel-art. Until this day he has presented his works in 60 expositions domestically and abroad. He lives in Cracov and from time to time in Spisz.

Painting is my next world, right beside music.

Gel art combines modern extravagance with convulsive classic. Both of them are very close to each other.

Gel-art enables the creation of a very precise compositions, offers unusual colors, materializes glittery effects and gives magnificent pastel colors such as green, violet and pink. So: Long live great differences! So, let’s go along the way next to Dante’s Alighieri:

»FORSAKE ALL ARROGANCE AND SELFISHNESS. LET’S CREATE HARMONY AND BEAUTY.«
